Mark is a creative musician of a wide variety of gifts. He works as an Organist, Composer, Arranger, Synthesist, and Choral Conductor.

Mark Frazier has been the Director of Music Ministries at Millian Methodist Church, Rockville, MD since January of 2013. He directs the Chancel, Family and Children's choirs. Having grown up in the home of a church musician, he sees music as being an essential part of the fabric of life. With a musical background which includes diverse experiences from Music Theater to Broadway to Choral to Organ Literature, Mark attempts to bring all of these difference experiences to bear in the life of Millian Church. His music program seeks to be one which encourages everyone to participate, regardless of musical background. It seeks to allow music to speak from the heart so that our whole beings may be involved in responding to the God of love and life. He encourages everyone to take part in this essential human expression of faith.

Mark has served as Director of Music Ministry in churches in North Carolina, Iowa Ohio Virginia, and New Hampshire. In Ohio, he had the rare privilege of being called upon to accompany Metropolitan Opera Singer Kathleen Battle in a program for the public schools of Scioto County. While in Washington, he was included as one of the five "government approved" private contract organists for Weddings and funerals at the Fort Myer Army Base in Arlington, VA. He has served as aural programmer and synthesist for diverse area theatrical groups and for the Washington Vocal Consortium, all of the greater metropolitan DC area.

As a composer Mr. Frazier has won the- American Guild of English Handbell Ringers Area II composition contest, the national Anthem Composition Contest sponsored by the Fairfax Methodist Church in Fairfax, VA, and received honorable mention in the National Federation of Music Club's Young Composers' Contest's Devora Nadworney Award. In 1999, his anthem "The Great Commission" was written for the dedication of the new Sanctuary of Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church of Southern Pines, North Carolina. While a resident in North Carolina, Mr. Frazier was an adjunct Faculty member of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he taught Music Appreciation.

He is a past Dean of the Cape Fear Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and he is past webmaster for the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
